Divine

The first gods emerged at the dawn of reality, claiming dominion over primordial forces, and using them to shape the world to their liking. As time went on, more deities emerged, vying amongst themselves for power. The worship by mortals empowers them, and they can grant great power to their chosen in return.   Divine is unique in that it is arguably not a single sphere but a multitude, as each divinity can be said to hold dominion over their own portfolio. It is also distinct in that it is often closely connected to other spheres; nature spirits, for instance, are actually divinities, but they typically grant power associated with Primal. The counterpart of Divine is Infernal; the raw impulse to Divine’s careful devotion.
