House Kosmiadis
House Kosmiadis is the original ruling house of Kratiros. For nearly five hundred years, the family of Stylianos Kosmiadis ruled the empire, overseeing the initial reconstruction of the nation in the wake of the Mage Wars and then steering the nation towards prosperity and greatness.
Unfortunately, the house has since fallen on harder times. While still charged with civil authority over the Kratiran heartlands of the Lower Brocheros Province, and leader of The Businessmen faction, House Kosmiadis is no longer considered a serious contender for the Lion Throne.
Structure
Like all Kratiran noble families, House Kosmiadis is organised by blood relation. The family currently has a main branch and two cadet branches.

As leaders of The Businessmen, House Kosmiadis are public supporters of indsutrial and commercial enterprises across the empire.

History
For the first six hundred years of the New Era, House Kosmiadis was the ruling house of the Kratiran Empire, and in that time they expanded the empire to cover much of its modern-day territory and established much of the culture and tradition that underpins modern Kratiran society. This glorious period of rule was brought to an end, however, by the Khiones Incursion of 667NE in which the reigning Protos Archontas of the time fell in battle against the Undead.
Political Influence & Intrigue
Although House Kratiros makes an outward show of having embraced the teachings of Beruzen, they privately remain true to their belief in the teachings of the Cult of the Originist Way. They continue to secretly fund Wayist Praevians doing missionary work across the Lower Brocheros Province to restore Kratirans to their former beliefs.
