House Dimos

A house in decline, House Dimos once enjoyed prominence in the Kratiran court and was charged with oversight of the military aspects of the empire’s northern border. The house saw its power significantly diminished during the breakaway of the Geprost Kingdom. Most of the house’s holdings were in the territory lost to Geprost, and because of this many of the family members at that time chose to swear loyalty to Sakis and become nobles in the new kingdom. Now they are seen as a house of lesser importance, alternately lauded for their steadfastness or suspected of treachery depending on the present situation on the Isio River.

Structure

Like all Kratiran noble families, House Dimos is organised by blood relation. Still recovering from the betrayal of the majority of family members during the foundation of the Geprost Kingdom, the family currently only has a single main branch.

House Dimos are declared members of The Militants as the faction offers the best chance of fulfilling the house's goals of reclaiming their lost holdings that are now part of the Geprost Kingdom and wiping out their treacherous cousins who sided with Build strongholds on the northern border of the empire Reclaim lost lands from Geprost Kingdom Destroy House Dimos of Geprost Kingdom

Assets

House Dimos maintains a castle in the town of Pithespontos. Once this was merely an outlying estate that was used as a retreat for those members of the house who wished to retreat or retire from the court politics of what was then the Upper Isio Province. Now it is the family's main holding.

History

House Dimos are the descendants of Spiridon Dimos. According to family traditions, Dimos was one of the Knight Commanders in the army of Stylianos Kosmiadis.
