Dutch People's Republic

The Dutch People's Republic is a nation in western Europe bordering the German Empire and the French Socialist Republic.

History

During the Great War, the Kingdom of Holland had been fighting on the side of Germany in neutral France against Kingdom of Occitania. During this time, Vladimir Lenin began to spread his ideas amongst the troops, including those of the Dutch. As a result, many of the Dutch military mutinied, with the eventual overthrow of Louis IV and the Dutch monarchy.

With the Dutch People's Republic established, peace was made in France. However, as compensation, France annexed the regions of Nord and Wallonia. The Dutch then joined the Comintern Union.

During the World War, the Latin Bloc declared war of France. Holland joined on France's side, and attempted to engage the Breton and British forces in Normandy. However, France made peace with the Kingdom of Brittany, ceding the region.
