Vienstadt
Vienstadt is a village set among the fields of Belsia, capital of the Signoria of Grivour. White-washed cottages lean into narrow cobbled lanes; library towers etched with glyphs climb above the rooftops. Scholars, archivists, and occult practitioners walk between farms, collecting history as much as grain. The air often smells of old paper and damp stone, of ink and dust.
The cathedral in the center is modest but tightly kept: stained glass windows with Belcoursian crests, alcoves for arcane relics, robed figures slipping in hush. Though Vienstadt is loyal to the Signoria of Grivour, it feels isolated: faith in history, darkness of memories, rumours of curses kept carefully in locked coffers. To its people, it is not a backwater—it is a guardian of what many elsewhere want to forget.
