Moonsea
An inland sea that follows the river Lys into the Sea of Fallen Stars, the Moonsea is a region of intrigue, piracy, and arcane secrets. The sea was formed when star fragments impacted Abeir-Toril in the Days of Thunder. Many pirate groups call this region home, but it is most infamous for its warring city-states. The Black Network had a stronghold on the shores of the Moonsea until recently, and there are many passages to the Underdark in the lands of the region.
