Frost Giants

Frost Giants are one of the five subspecies of True Giants, named for their boreal habitats and elemental affinity for ice. Frost Giant tribes are usually incredibly violent and territorial, with a raiding and pillaging based culture. They value hunting, brute strength and skill in battle above all else, and wear proudly both their scars and the grisly trophies they take from their enemies. Frost Giant tribes are often led by a chieftain, usually female, who has defeated the last chieftain in a battle to the death.

Frost Giants commonly live in either makeshift nomadic camps or whatever settlements they stole from their neighbors, such as conquered fortresses and villages. These settlements tend to be dirty, disease ridden and poorly kept.

Due to their constant need to raid and pillage, First Giants rarely stay in one place for long, always hunting for the next place to get their food and battle. This leads them into frequent conflict with human settlements, as well as other Frost Giant tribes, Goliath tribes, as well as Yetis and even Ice Dragons, the latter of which they consider the greatest hunt.

Appearance

Frost Giants are broad shouldered and muscular, standing around 25 feet tall. Fire Giant skin ranges from a pale white to a dark blue, and their eyes resemble pale orbs of ice. Frost Giant hair tends to be thin and straight, commonly coloured a pale blonde, grey or white. Only male Frost Giants have beards, with the oldest and most powerful Frost Giants having hair and beards composed of jagged frozen ice. 

Frost Giants dress very sparingly, usually in scraps of fabric, leather and hide mixed together into makeshift armour, leaving a lot of skin showing, particularly where there are scars visible. Frost Giants also tend to adorn themselves with spoils of battle, such as animal parts, dragon parts, bones and trinkets stolen from their victims. Frost Giants have also been known to decorate their body with war paint before battle, commonly made with blood.
