Guilds and Businesses, are considered the backbone of Everwealthy society; One without would buckle helplessly. These establishments, shopkeepers, roadside merchants, provide essential goods and services such as grocers or toolmakers for the folk nearby. They provide wages to afford said goods, provide the Government with a portion of their profits to garner funds to pay guards who keep you safe and workers who dig the roads you walk on; Although the usually mediocre pay that affords these workers their usually mediocre lifestyles may indicate otherwise. Guilds and businesses whether ran by singular private parties or a collective who seek to provide a particular service to their community, are a vital contribution to The Monarchy, and what barbaric, run-down society The Great Schism left for us to pick through. But thankfully, as it, currently, stands, so long as your purses are still with coin, there will always be blacksmiths to sharpen your swords or the vampyr hunters to ensure your lifeblood does not become a shadowy monster's next meal. Abundance and competition being present though, just make sure to do a little research before making your purchase, and be wary of bargains, it would be a shame to meet your end by the hand of a gunsmith's shoddy craftsmanship failing you when you need it most.
