Clairikajro

The World's Capital

The magical floating city known as Clairikajro has had a tumultuous history that has involved many tragic and joyous events! One thing is certain in regard to the ever-changing city it will stand the test of time no matter how harsh it may be. Its many wizards, mages and magical specialists of all kinds all work together to create a favourable environment for both themselves and also for many visitors that gather in Clairikajro to witness the wonders of the world's capital.

Demographics

Most of the people of Clairikajro are wizards, sorcerers and other magic users that strive to achieve the illustrious title of Mage. These people, known as Clairikajrens, differ in age, species, wealth and magical expertise. You can expect to meet anything from destructive evocationist War Mages that seek to learn new capabilities in healing, to dwarven transmutation specialists that seek to understand how to mold and change the earth in their favour during their many expeditious mining excavations. You may even meet a few Dragonians and Dragonborns that seek to explore their natural affinity for the divine magics. Whilst many are young there are a few elderly that seek to refine certain magical traits and spells that also arrive at Clairikajro, however, there is much difference in how these elderly are treated compared to the other inhabitants. The elderly unlike the youth are treated much more as a guest at eldercare than students or curious souls that seek knowledge within the bountiful chambers of Clairikajro.

Government

Throughout the initial stages of Clairikajros life, the "government" was technically not present. There was a council that had an overview of the entirety of Clairikajro. This council was known as the Council of Arcanum. The Council of Arcanum in short was alike a magocracy, however without any formal legislative power. Their rulings were not legally binding to anyone but the living inside of Clairikajro respected their word as though it was a legislative ruling. In later years, however, Clairikajro has begun to function much alike that of a school or public library ruled by Lazarus Titan initially. However, after the death of Lazarus Titan during the events of the Rot in Eastrix, Hoku took over for a brief while and ruled Clairikajro. Later when the Heroes of Moonshore returned to Clairikajro with their former comrade Qadir, the Knight of Blackhagen, to imprison him within the magic city, Clairikajro had once again a need for a formal legislative and judicial council or government. To achieve this many scholars initially voted to reform the Council of Arcanum, especially many of the Sorashanan Clarikajrens which many saw as a great option. A choice has yet to be made but one thing is for sure, Clairikajro is on the verge of something new and big.

Infrastructure

The structure that collectively creates the entirety of Clairikajro all carry at least one of these attributes, 1) They are a type of spire. 2) they have magical enchantments attached to them that enhance or otherwise further one's experience of set building or set service set building provides. 3) They are an illusory image provided to let people understand that some kind of building is present, however, the actual shape of the building would shatter the feebleminded and or is secret. Thereby the infrastructure tends to vary in size and height. Some buildings are much more robust and others are sleeker. They are usually built with very unusual materials as well, sandstone is the most common but one may find houses made out of mushrooms and other fungal materials or even elements such as water or earth can make up certain homes.

Districts

Each district within Clairikajro is fairly small due to the limitations of Clairikajro's own fairly small size, but these districts are however important nonetheless as each of them embodies a certain magical discipline. Each of the 9 magical disciplines is present: Abjuration, Conjuration, Divination, Enchantment, Evocation, Illusion, Necromancy, Transumation and finally Divinium, also known as divine magic. Each of the districts is named after its respective school of magic. From these, there is one type of magic missing, known as primordial magic or primordial power, this type of magic was chosen to not appear in Clairikajro due to the nature of the magic itself. Instead of sacrificing the Weave, or the Blood of Taras, Primordial magic sacrifices the energy of the very elements themselves to produce magic.

Besides this there is a singular central spire in the middle of the city known as the Equidistant. The Equidistant is a massive spire that reaches above all other buildings within Clairikajro. It lies within the centre area of Clairikajro and works as a meeting place for all of Clairikajro. The Equidistant is as tall as it is deep, as it actually extends underground as well. This underground part of the world is very different from the overworld as it underground is essentially one big dungeon that keeps different prisoners. The most important of these is Qadir, formerly the Knight of Blackhagen now just Qadir.
