Occiman State
The Occiman State is an echelarist totalitarian state in the Occima region of Jideran. Formerly a region of the Republic of Kaisa, the Occiman State was created by mandate of the Delchi Peace Conference that ended the Last War.
The echelarist wing of the Occiman Nationalist Party was placed in power by the Imperial Jiderani Union, with Andri Evristia as the head of state. Less than a week after his instatement, Sovina Kopert assassinated him during a party congress, ending any hopes of an easy transition of power.
The new nation was split in half, with the echelarist retaining control over the northwestern portion, with Delchi as their capital. In the southeast of Occima, the Occiman Republic was declared in Gemani by the socialist wing of the party. Fearing that their client state would be entirely overrun, IJU forces moved in to reassert control and ensure stability. A tense standoff has emerged at the border between the two states.
