Delchi Peace Conference

The Delchi Peace Conference was a series of diplomatic meetings in Delchi that negotiated the end of the Last War. It was held between the remaining belligerents of the Humanist League and the nations of the Rising Powers Pact (RPP), as well as other international dignitaries and figures of significance.

The conference was called when the Republic of Kaisa, their hand forced by a revolt amongst the ranks of the Kaisan Army, offered surrender to the Imperial Jiderani Union. Lasting for several months, the negotiations were dominated by the RPP and resulted in heavy financial penalties, as well as the redrawing of maps to grant territorial concessions to the nations of the RPP.

The conference also arranged the dissolution of the Humanist League and included conversations amongst the Rising Powers around the future of their international cooperation. The beginnings of friction between the RPP nations was seen, as a proposal by Halar to form a more permanent and formal international association to replace the League fell apart into bickering over the details of such an institution. None of the nations of the Pact wished to see any of the others dominate such an organization.
