Kaisan Army
The Kaisan Army is the armed land forces of the Kaisan state. Prior to the Last War, it was seen as one of the finest armies across Duurn, but they are currently in a state of disarray following the war. An attempt by the Kaisan Army strategic command to force a last desperate coutner-attack led to widespread mutiny, and it is quickly becoming clear that the Symvouli Tiporé is losing control over the common soldiers, a fact that the radical factions of the Daffodil Revolution are taking advantage of.
Organization
The Kaisan Army is led at the top by the Takraton, one of the council positions on the Symvouli Tiporé elected by the Ilakidi Koudagaton. By the nature of this system, the Takraton does not always have strategic experience or expertise, but they are closely advised by a council of stratiga. This Strategic Council takes on most of the day-to-day operations of the army, leaving only the broad strategic decisions to the Takraton. Despite this, place some of the blame for the outcome of the war on the inefficiencies of this system. Titus Vasilakis, the Takraton during the war and up to the current day, has become widely panned by many within Kaisa for his handling of the war. There are several armies that make up the Kaisan Army. At the beginning of the Last War, Kaisa fielded eight armies, but by 1350, they had raised another four.
