Kaisan Army Mutiny

The Kaisan Army Mutiny of 1349 began in Whispers, 1349 during the Battle of Occima. The leadership of the Kaisan Army gave orders for a desperate offensive to retake the ground that had been lost by the rapidly collapsing Kaisan front. The orders were widely seen as suicidal, and they were widely rejected. Many units laid down their arms and surrendered or fled the front entirely, and officers that attempted to press the issue were often killed by their own soldiers.   In conjunction with the 1349 Kaisan General Strike, which grew in solidarity with the mutineers, the Symvouli Tiporé was forced to enter negotiations to end the Last War. Though the mutiny "officially" ended after the Kaisan surrender, the situation in Kaisa failed to stabilize, marking the beginning of the Daffodil Revolution.
