Elek Aetos
Elek Aetos is a Kaisan echelarist author and political activist. One of the founding members of the Vitalist League, he is an influential figure in the Kaisan echelarist milieu.
In his young adult life, Elek was a member of the socialist wing of the Kaisan Republican Party, even fighting in the Kaisan Revolution of 1333 as part of a commune militia. He became disillusioned with the communist movement after the failure of the revolution, and he began to look elsewhere for inspiration.
He visited Coterait in 1337 and was impressed by what he saw. He wrote several fawning articles about the "national-federalist miracle," for which he was widely ridiculed and threatened by the Kaisan radical milieu. Enraged, he distanced himself from other radicals. In 1338, he founded Forward! using funds from the sale of the masonry business he inherited.
Through his activities with Forward!, he met Alekos Makri, and in 1339, they and other prominent echelarists created the Kaisan Vitalist League.
