Rising Powers Pact
The Rising Powers Pact was one of the two major factions of the Last War, fighting against the Humanist League. The pact was a defense agreement between the Imperial Jiderani Union, the Hallowed Lands, Halar, and Drizhni. Within the treaty, should any of them become the target of a declaration of war, the others would join the war in their defense.
The pact was first signed by the IJU and Halar in 1341. The Hallowed Lands joins the agreement in 1342, shortly before the Last War. Drizhni did not join the pact until 1345, nearly three years into the Last War. Following the war, the pact remains in effect, even as relations between some of its signatories grow frosty.
