Tier 2 - S

The Maniacs aren’t just a gang—they’re a fever dream leaking out of a forgotten sanitarium. Born of the South Side streets but twisted by the whispers in St. Mary’s, they move like specters and strike like madmen. They worship violence, prophecy, and the ghosts that never left.

"We the scream in the silence. We the blood in the dark."
The Pale Faces, Grand Boulevard Fiends

Npcs

Walter “Slug” Booker (leader) – squat, flashy, all flash and silence until the swing; obsessed with baseball metaphors and legacy
Michael “Gold Chain” Ray (lieutenant) – tall, arrogant, dresses like a pimp, carries a Bible he never opens
Jesse “Ashes” Crowley – tall, wiry, high as hell most of the time; quiet observer who explodes without warning
Tonya “Shiv Queen” Barnes – leads the girls’ enforcement wing, known for knife work and candle-lit curses
Brother Ferris – ex-priest turned Veil preacher, runs the rituals and the "cleansings"

Turf

Penton Towers – Dilapidated public housing controlled floor by floor; home to enforcers and watchers.
Fast Mart – Corner store turned corner post—stash spot, meet-up, and look-out location.

    Situation

The Maniacs are at war with the GDs and hungry to reclaim control of the southern stretch of Grand Boulevard. They've reached out to BCN for support, hoping to exchange blood for influence. In the meantime, they're trying to broker something darker with the Devil’s Hand—an agreement steeped in blood and Veil rites. Outside, they look like another street gang clawing for turf. But inside St. Mary’s, they’re changing—becoming something stranger. Whether they’re cursed or chosen depends on who you ask... and how close you’re willing to get.
