Guide of Aporan Classes

This page is a general overview of organizations of Apora that have certain class specializations. They are suggestions for how/where your character learned their skills. Also gives information about the distribution of certain classes.

Clerics, Paladins, and Monks

These three classes all have to do with study and holy meditation. Cleric and Paladins belong to religious organizations throughout the world, the most established being The Seer Tribes. Some of the most prominent organizations there are the Torm worshipping Order of the Fire Forged, The Evereyes of Selune, and The Templars of Harmony of Milil. The later also sponsors many bards.   Monks on the other hand study in monasteries. Of the many monasteries of Apora, two have risen to prominence. The first is The Elder Pond, located deep within Lamlier's forest. In the southern mountains is The Mother Crag. Other monasteries besides these are sequestered away, providing training for monks aplenty.     Individuals who use divine magic aren't subject to persecution like those with arcane magic. Within the Seer Tribes, holy magic is the highest calling one can follow, next to that of a tradesman.

Sorcerers, Wizards, and Warlocks

Due to the heavy suspicion of the arcane, these classes are somewhat rare. They are basically nonexistant in the north. There may be some who study in The Southern Dominance, but very little information survived post Era of Storms. A few other classes rely on arcane magic, but sorcerers, wizards, and warlocks are the three classes with the biggest targets on their backs. Talk with your dm if you have questions about other arcane classes

Fighters, Rogues, and various subclasses

These classes and subclasses are devoted to the art of martial fighting. For fighters in particular, Konora has one of the most disciplined militaries on the continent and boasts many skillful fighters. the Wolf Clan of Cronia also places heavy emphasis on the military.   Rogues, on the other hand, learn their skills on the streets or in theiving guilds. Some examples are the White Snake Crew in Stilcrest, the Shatterbane in Wolfshead, and the Twinskulls that pirate the coast.
