Colric Striggirs

Youngest son and last child of Alfric Striggirs and Geytru Striggirs, Colric is an accomplished sorcerer and diplomat, having acted as a diplomat to both Quoshua and Athantia for many years, building trading partnerships in both nations that have benefited Port Argen greatly.
He has recently returned home to Port Argen to lead on diplomatic endeavours within the court, as High Thane Grimirsson Brightblade presence in the city has complicated matters, he often works closely with his niece Venger Striggirs as she has an aptitude for the political arena that Colric respects.
Unbeknownst to most Colric is also a very accomplished spy and over the years has built a network across Bretawald, Quoshua, and Athantia that keeps him abreast of most of the political and trade manoeuvring within the three nations, ensuring Port Argen can take advantage of them.
Colric is known for his easy-going and affable nature, which has disarmed even the most wary of individuals. A factor that has made him surprisingly successful at what he does. It has also been key to the string of lovers he's had across the three nations, including some powerful lords and ladies.
It's unclear, even to Colric prescisely how many of his assignations have lead to children, he knows of 15, but some of his lovers are in relationships and will never admit to having spent time with him, there are even rumors that some individuals in line for their family seats are bastard children of his, although it has never been proven
He takes the lead from their mothers as to how involved he should be in their lives. Those who openly declare him the father, he is regularly involved, visiting them and bringing gifts, often dropping in unannounced. Occasionally, former lovers and their children spend time in his private residence within Port Argen. The relationships he's openly had are with individuals who don't seek the more traditional family structure and are content with casual relationships. This has on occasion led to his private residence resounding with the clamour of children playing and the appearances of a small clan in residences as multiple families have arrived to celebrate his birthday or other important events, amicably coexisting and sharing in this unusual extended family. There have even been rumours of the extended Colric family travelling across nations to help each other out in times of particular hardship.
This extended family group shows every sign of becoming a significant force to be reckoned with, comprising individuals across three powerful nations who treat each other as close family and hold positions of influence or knowledge; their potential cannot be underestimated.
