Foedrik Striggirs
Foedrik is the eldest son of Alfric and Geytru. Born early into their marriage, he bore the brunt of expectations from his parents as the heir to the Thanedom, which has made him a serious man, with little time for frivolity.
In his youth, he spent some time honing his combat skills, adventuring across the lands of the Maelstrom nations, keeping his family name a secret. This has given him an insight into how many other cities and nations work, but he values the traditions of Port Argen, and Bretawald as important, so he seeks to progress the Thanedom without losing its rich past. One such move is his marriage to an Azarketi, Inkual Striggirs, from a powerful clan to give the Port better defence and bind the ties to the nearby Azarketis people into the Thanedom.
Foedrik is an imposing man, well over six feet in height, broad-shouldered and heavily muscled. He is the archetypical picture of a Bretawaldian knight of ancient times.
Foedrik and Inkual have two children: Venger Striggirs, their oldest and heir, and Foedrikssen Striggirs.
