Khabris god of Darkness and Death
Khabris is one of the two primordial beings of the Genesis Pantheon, born alongside Tala-ni'alni the god of Light and Life at the dawn of existence. While Tala-ni’alni brought forth the breath of life and radiant creation, Khabris gave the universe its rhythm, the inevitable end to every beginning. He is calm, timeless, and measured, preferring the form of a tall, cloaked being whose flesh glows faintly with shifting starlight and whose right forearm bears a tattooed hourglass that endlessly counts down but never empties. His presence marks the quiet certainty of endings, not as punishment, but as part of the eternal cycle of existence.

Divine Symbols & Sigils
The symbol of an hourglass, eternally flowing, represents Khabris’ dominion over time and endings. In divine art, it is often shown half-buried in shadow and half-bathed in light, symbolizing his eternal link with Tala-ni’alni. His personal sigil appears as a serpent devouring its own tail, encircling the hourglass, the endless cycle of life, death, and rebirth.
Holidays
The only mortal festival still whispered in his honor is The Silent Eve, a night without prayer or song, where candles are left to burn out on their own, a gesture of acceptance to the Keeper of Time.
Divine Goals & Aspirations
Khabris seeks the restoration of perfect balance, a harmony that has not existed since the corruption of one of the Elder Gods. Though he remains silent and unseen, his presence is felt in every turning season, every passing year, and every quiet death.
Mental characteristics
Personal history
Khabris and Tala-ni’alni emerged together from the void, their twin essences defining the cosmic balance of life and death. After setting the Mino Galaxy in motion, Khabris withdrew from Tala-ni’alni to rule his own dominion, Sector (K), a realm between time and silence. There he forged the Underworld and Delembios, a shadowed plane of judgment and passage, to balance Serenios, the realm of light where the gods dwell. From his hands came the demon race, created to mirror the strength of the Elder Gods and maintain cosmic equilibrium. Yet when one Elder God fell and became an Old God, the balance was shattered — leaving seven demon lords against six Elder Gods, and chaos to forever taint the world of Baltharos.
Now, with Tala-ni’alni having departed to the Ta-Co Galaxy, Khabris remains as the only god of the Genesis Pantheon still present in the Mino Galaxy, the silent observer of a universe slowly tilting toward imbalance.
Intellectual Characteristics
Khabris is an orator of profound precision and patience. His words are deliberate, weighted with meaning, and spoken with a tone that carries neither threat nor comfort, only truth. He reasons with a flawless logic that transcends mortal understanding, and his speech often lulls listeners into silent reflection. Though rarely emotional, his wisdom is never cold; it is the empathy of inevitability.
Morality & Philosophy
Khabris believes all things must end for new beginnings to exist. To defy death or manipulate time without cause is to unravel the universe’s design. He does not seek worship or fear, but understanding, that endings are sacred, and that loss itself is divine. His morality is absolute but never cruel; it is the law that even gods cannot escape.
Personality Characteristics
Motivation
Khabris strives to preserve the balance of all existence, a task made impossible since the fall of the Old God "King". With Tala-ni’alni gone, Khabris shoulders the burden of maintaining the Mino Galaxy’s fragile equilibrium alone. He watches from the edge of time, intervening only when the scales of life and death threaten to break completely. His goal is not to recreate perfection, but to ensure the universe continues to turn despite its imperfections.
Likes & Dislikes
Likes: Silence, order, reflection, cycles of change, mortals who accept their fate with grace.
Dislikes: Chaos without purpose, hubris, necromancy that binds the soul unnaturally, and attempts to twist time’s flow.
