"King"
"The King" stands alone as the first god ever to lose their godhood, and the supreme leader of the Old gods. Unlike others who fell into obscurity and madness, "The King" retains an aura of grandiosity, power, and unfathomable knowledge. Though stripped of divine status and worship by mortals, his arcane might remains vast, fueling his dominion over the grotesque realm of the Old gods. Among these fallen deities, he alone commands respect and loyalty, his remaining “followers” being the very monsters that were once gods like himself.
A figure shrouded in mystery, "The King" is both feared and revered. Known to alternate between savage brutality and moments of twisted benevolence, he secludes himself in a humble hut near a forgotten village where he conducts dark experiments, bending life and evolution to his will. Legends whisper that he was once a monster who transcended into godhood before ultimately descending into his current abomination, yet no scholar or mortal truly knows his origins, his power, or even the true nature of the divine might he once wielded. Ancient texts only describe the breathtaking beauty of his celestial form, referring to him by his ancient name, “Baltharos.”
