The Wailing of the Deep

When the gods of the Dead and the Ocean dueled in the underworld, the veil between the planes broke. Hundreds of demons, fiend and monstrosities now were able to ecape their death and banishment and rose up as what we became to know as the Wailing of the Deep.

On the coast of Milea, the one known as Daglir in life had gathered hunderds of followers of his wisdom of battle and power of the ocean. Some may have said he was blessed by Exian herself. Daglir had always carried the burden of being unproven in his theory, yet that day may come sooner than he would think.
On that faithful day when the events of the Bloodied Sacrifice unfolded in the underworld. In the depths of the oceans the veil between works broke. Therminda desperately started to try to patch the holes, but her attempts were in vein. Anything which could carry itself out of the Underworld grabbed the edge and tried to leave their destiny. They reached the top of the water and marched to shore. When the first sighting happened, Daglir raalied all of his men which were capeble of fighting and headed to the shore. He looked over the ocean and made up his mind. When this is over i will have my glorious victory or died trying.

Battle started with the clash of the first blade and the stakes were high. Their enemies aren't afraid of death, for they have seen already. The warriors all over the continet rallied together to defend what is sacred to them. Everyone put aside their diffrences and joined in union to see those diffrences be settled. The say came and went ans the bettle would rage onwards. Hundres would fall on either side. One of them would be the elder, Daglir. Soon their after a surge of power enveloped the oceans alike to a wave. Something had happened.

Down in the Underworld it had ended, Exian had passed. In her final moments she passed her power to Yara. A final gift to her wife to make sure whe could save herself. She knew her passing was not questionable, it was imminent. She had heard of this elder on the shores talking about the power of the ocean and gathered his soul and spirit form the hands of Saohr and gave to him the body of her most trusted comapnion, the serpent Sidrim. Here power over the oceans would pass to him as he ascended to deityhood. It didn't set in as a change, but as a new reality.

Under Daglir guidance, Therminda succeeds as the domain is no longer clashing with another. Yet the battle would rage on for another day. In the moments before the undead were seemingly winning, now Daglir was going to make sure their legacy was secure. Whereas Exian had been busy fighting Py'rah, Daglir had set their sights on the here and now. In the oceans where the Undead were gathering themselves for another charge, they were wiped out by a tornado. As Yara joins they fray to assist in fixing her damages. And soon after the fighting stopped and a new reality dawned on Milea.

Historical Basis

Around the time he myth was et there was a flood, which caused demons to rise from the seas. We can find this evidence in the libraries of the Incursion. They have documented these events very precisely as this was the leading cause of the Second Incursion. This would eventaully refered to as Daglirs Flood, beacuse the Incursion members first heard of him in their adventures on the seaside of Milea.

Spread

This myth gained its spread when an unknown author rewrote the flood of demons as Daglirs orgin story. He had previously written the myth of A Bloodied Sacrifice. He connected this flood with his own story as their is no other evidence which proves him right.
