A Bloodied Sacrifice

We find ourselves near the Temple of the Skies. Salathel, Yara's lover, headed out of their mountain keep to squash a nearby rebellion. He was Celestial of orgin and had gained his might form the astral dragon Agymin, Dragon of War.

Whikle venturing out, he was ambushed. His soldiers defended him fiercly, yet smohow someone had managed to slip tohrough his lines. Sythece had been lying outisde their mountain keep waiting for his prey ans sturck at the perfect time. The only prokblem was one unforseen. The wife of the man he had just kiled, was Yara. So in their escape, they were caught by a tornado.

Fueled by grief and rage, Yara decided that this was an injustice to his legacy and took magters into her own hands. She went to the underworld to revive Salathel. How hard could it be. Her powers at a deity allowed her to teleport right to the edge of the Underworld. But as she walked through Saohrs gate, she could only rely on herself from here on out.

Saohr ferried her over the river Acheron. She would carried the burden of everyone shed had kiled while she is in the underworld. Eventually she realized her fatal mistake. She was in Alonias, while Salathel should have travelled to Asphodel. Travelling beside the riverside pondering her next move, she was spotted by one of the Colossus.

Thsi one, the Thriceborn, easily infromed and bnrought Yara to Py'rah in his castle. Altough she wasn't involved in his banishment directly, her wife was. In Py'rah's eyes she was a tool to reach Exian. So he had her tortured to death. In the realm of the living, Exian could feel an oath breking. She knew what had happened to Salathel and quickly realized what she hasd done.

Taking action, she firstly send a champion named Athanasian. His task was to rescue her remains whikle her soul still kingers before passing. He threw a wrench in the cog. He reached her body, but was stopped before he could escape. Secondly she hired a Demon to finsh the job from the insde, but true to his nature he betreyed her.

The gist was up. Being a deity with more power, she could teleport right next to Py'rah. Right there and then the Hells and the Oceans clashed in the power. This had the result of tearing the veil between planes. Clash after clash would go on and a trend started to show. Py'rah had harvested the power fo the souls in the Underowlrd and had gained a lot of power since his banishment. Exian would get pushed on to the backfoot adn started to lose ground. Eventuallly she would pass.

As here last action she revived Yara and litterally saved her life. On the otherside she appointed Daglir as her succesor in The Wailing of the Deep. Yara was able to abide Py'rah grasp and left the Underworld as quicly as she could. Yara had gotten away with her life as Exian sacrificed herself for Yara's actions.
