Akira Mordos

Appearance

  Akira is the living embodiment of grace and wisdom. Her chestnut-brown hair is worn in a long braid, with subtle silver threads woven through it — a mark of her status and years of experience. Her eyes are a bright, piercing blue, famous across Asiendal for their serene but commanding presence.   Though she is a queen and a diplomat, Akira is not delicate — her body bears faint, elegant scars from countless training sessions and battles. She is lithe but muscular, her posture perfect, her movements deliberate. She dresses in elegant but functional attire: embroidered tunics, flowing capes, and occasionally light armor when she still chooses to spar.  

Personality

  Calm, compassionate, and endlessly patient, Akira is the voice of reason in House Mordos. She is diplomatic and warm to allies but can be cuttingly sharp when challenged — her tongue is as precise as her spear.   Akira has always embodied the philosophy of balance: strength tempered by compassion, duty tempered by love. She is known for her ability to solve disputes in court with a few carefully chosen words, often turning enemies into allies.   Despite her serene demeanor, she has a mischievous streak — something Evelyn clearly inherited. Her sense of humor is subtle, sometimes surfacing in the form of sly remarks that leave everyone else a beat behind before they realize she’s teasing them.  

Abilities & Training

  Akira is considered one of the most skilled spear and glaive fighters of her generation, known for her impeccable form and control. While she rarely needs to draw her weapon these days, she continues to train daily, claiming that “discipline is the breath of the soul.”   Her Crai’Gai is a brilliant sapphire-blue, representing clarity of thought and serenity of spirit. When she flares it, she exudes an aura that calms allies and sharpens their minds — a boon in both battle and diplomacy.   She is also an adept spellcaster, particularly in protective wards, barrier magic, and healing — choosing spells that reinforce her role as a guardian and counselor.  

History & Role

  Born in Issgrammor to the powerful Asiendalian House Valior's noble family, Akira was trained from an early age to be both warrior and stateswoman. She distinguished herself during the Border Rebellions of 100 202, where her spear cut through rebel lines and her diplomacy secured peace without further bloodshed.   Her bond with Eremon began as one of mutual respect — her wisdom and poise impressed him, and his unmatched vision for Asiendal inspired her. Their relationship deepened over time, and when Evelyn expressed her desire to marry Eremon, Akira sat with both of them, ultimately giving her blessing. This decision led to the awaited by many marriage to Eremon, making her daughter one of his seven wives.   Akira serves as an advisor to both Eremon and the War Council, though she prefers to work quietly behind the scenes rather than seek glory. Many credit her counsel as one of the reasons Asiendal thrives politically as much as it does militarily.  

Relationships

 

• Evelyn Mordos (Daughter): Akira’s pride and joy, and now the High Queen of Asiendal. She trained Evelyn personally in both spear combat and court diplomacy, instilling in her the sense of duty and grace that define her reign.

• Eremon Mordos (Husband): A relationship of deep respect and love. Their bond is built on shared ideals and understanding — Akira is one of the few who can calm Eremon when his temper flares, when they appear.

• Eric Mordos (Son): Akira's personal little Eremon, the splitting image of his father, Akira has personally overseen his training and teachings over economics, science, martial arts and linguistics, with her advices and oversight, he has grown into the man he is today.

• Nevianna, Linna, Rennos (Grandchildren): Akira adores her grandchildren, especially Nevianna, whose wild energy reminds her of Evelyn as a child. Akira often spoils baby Nevianna when no one is looking and is the one who can most easily settle her when she throws a tantrum.

• Other Wives of Eremon: Akira maintains a very close and relaxed relationship with the other wives, often sharing baths, tea gatherings - where they can plot things behind their husband's back - for his own good, of course.

 

Legacy & Influence

  Akira is revered across Asiendal not just as a queen but as a symbol of wisdom in leadership. Bards sing of her calm in the face of crisis, and many young noblewomen aspire to her mixture of grace, power, and intellect.   She is also credited with developing several new educational initiatives for Asiendal’s nobility — encouraging a balance of martial skill, intellectual pursuit, and cultural appreciation.
