Geography and Layout

  Ironclad is located on a high plateau, surrounded by steep cliffs and mountain ranges, making it nearly impenetrable to direct assaults. The city is divided into several districts, each with a specific purpose related to military operations:   The Citadel District: The heart of Ironclad, where the War Council of Asiendal convenes and where strategic decisions are made. The Citadel is an imposing structure made from enchanted obsidian stone, housing the military headquarters, war rooms, and the personal quarters of high-ranking officers.   Training Grounds: A vast area dedicated to the rigorous training of Asiendal’s soldiers. The Training Grounds feature a variety of terrains and environments, including forests, deserts, and urban combat simulators, to prepare troops for any possible battlefield. Specialized facilities for hand-to-hand combat, weapons training, and magitech operations are scattered throughout this district.   Armory District: The industrial heart of Ironclad, where weapons, armor, and military vehicles are crafted and maintained. The district is filled with factories, forges, and magitech workshops. Engineers and blacksmiths work tirelessly to produce the equipment needed for Asiendal’s armies, from the standard-issue gear of foot soldiers to the advanced weaponry of the Juggernauts.   Barracks District: Home to the soldiers and military personnel of Ironclad. The barracks are designed to house large numbers of troops, ensuring that the city is always ready to deploy forces at a moment’s notice.   The Sky Docks: Located at the highest point of the city, the Sky Docks are where Asiendal’s airships, wyverns, and other aerial units are stationed. This district is vital for maintaining the kingdom’s air superiority, with facilities for the construction, repair, and outfitting of aerial vehicles. The Sky Docks also serve as a launching point for rapid-response airborne forces.   The Magitek Labs: A secretive and heavily guarded district where the most advanced magitech research and development takes place. The labs are responsible for creating the cutting-edge technologies that give Asiendal its military edge, including experimental weapons, defensive systems, and enhancement techniques for soldiers.

The wall is made from a combination of Mithrillium and enchanted stone, making it nearly indestructible. The surface is lined with defensive runes that repel magical attacks, while battlements are equipped with heavy artillery and magitek cannons.   Magitek Turrets: Positioned along the city walls and throughout key locations, these automated turrets are powered by the city’s magitek core. They are capable of rapid fire and are designed to target both ground and aerial threats with devastating accuracy.   Energy Shield Dome: A massive energy shield that can be activated during an attack, enveloping the entire city in a protective dome. The shield is powered by multiple arcane reactors hidden within the city, capable of absorbing and deflecting enemy artillery, energy weapons, and magical assaults.   Underground Bunkers and Tunnels: Beneath Ironclad lies a network of bunkers and tunnels, providing secure locations for civilians and command personnel during an attack.
