Hedgam Stormbreaker

Hedgam Stormbreaker was once a righteous king. However, those righteous deeds a vastly overshadowed by his later tyranny and villainy. Stormbreaker was made king when it was discovered that he was the reincarnation of Thor's heroic spirit. In his early days as king, Hedgam was a stern and powerful, yet fair force for justice. Many of his efforts were dedicated to keeping the threats of the giants to the north out of Aryllia. For that purpose, he married off his only daughter Claudia to the Duke of Norwich, Dante Hawthorne in order to create an alliance between the houses.    Hedgam came to regret the marriage rather quickly when he came to fully realize Hawthorne's cruelty. However, there was nothing he could do. Closely following Claudia's death, Johannes Faust approached the king and offered to him great power. All the king needed to do was to show his semi-divine heart to the man who had not yet revealed himself as an avatar of Asmodeus. Against the advice of Grand Twinkle, the current incarnation of Loki and Stormbreaker's greatest advisor, Stormbreaker agreed.    As soon as Hedgam showed the heart to Faust, he corrupted it with infernal energy transforming Stormbreaker into the devil, Abbarax, Lord of The 10th. However, Abbarax's infernal duchy was not yet secured, in order to fully realize his power, he would need to create a divine heart in order to transform the Material Plane into another layer of Hell. Abbarax committed horrible acts to further this goal. Such acts included but are not limited to the near complete annihilation of the Knights of Thor, the summoning of monstrous hordes from the Shadowfell, enacting tyrannical martial law in all territory controlled by the crown, and attempting to pull the Shadowfell into the Material Plane in order to combine the two realms.    Abbarax was confronted and defeated by Team Deicide in an epic battle. Upon his defeat he was absorbed into the demonic blade of Adran Amakiir and his soul and semi-divine heart came into the posession of Baphomet. His semi-divine heart has since been freed and his soul has been banished to the Nine Hells.
