The Merchant Council
The Merchant Council is the executive entity of the Venecian Merchant Council and is headed by the Hertug.
It consists of three Admirals, the chairman of the central bank, the heads of the two most influential and successful trade guilds, two generals and two judges.
The Hertug chooses who sits on the council, often preferring admirals and generals loyal to him over more reputable ones.
