Orsakar

Orsakar is one of the founders and council members of the High Council of the The Wardens Of Tempest.   His loyal mount is named Arlos. With his sword Bloodbath and his heavy kite shield Sword Breaker Orsakar is the ideal heavy cavalryman.  

History

  Arriving in on the continent of Middland after Hialbjorn der Gebrochene, Vandil de Sade, Raymund de Sade, Asmond and he deserted Folkesson, he helped establish a new mercenary company. Taking part in countless battles without getting porperly rewarded for their feeds in those encounters, he wholeheartedly supported Hialbjorns attempt to take the castle Falkenklamm for theirselves.   Orsakar was the tip of the spear as the company sallied out to destroy Aaryd v. Eisenstein's siege engines.   Von Eisensteins liege lord commanded that Orsakar and the other captives are brought to the nearest city to stand trial for their insubordination. When the prisoner transport was ambushed by some north men and he was released to help Aaryd fend of the enemies, he proved that even without his horse he is a terrifying opponent to face in battle. After the battle was won, Orsakar needed to be convinced by Hialbjorn der Gebrochene to trust in a fair trial and accompany Von Eisenstein to the city.   As the group found the city sieged by north men that looked similar to the band that waylaid them on the road. Deciding to infiltrate and sabotage the encampment, he was tasked with letting the horses go awry to cause a major distraction among the sleeping enemies. When the siege equipment was destroyed and the others attacked those who had eaten the sabotaged food supplies, he mounted one of the strong horses from the stables and cut through the defenders.   Despite his disagreement to serve those who had in Orsakars opinion, exploited them by not rewarding them according to their performance, he stayed at Hialbjorns side and entered the service of Von Eisensteins overlord as cavalryman and raised through the ranks in the following years by hunting down the remainders of north men in the fiefdoms.   But a few years later the north men attacked again and with larger numbers and better organized. The countless battles, sieges and plundering ravaged the countryside and lead to several food shortages. His liege died defending the capital and only a few heroes survived the ransacking of the city. Orsakar, Aaryd v. Eisenstein and the other former mercenaries returned to the then abandoned castle Falkenklamm and founded the The Wardens Of Tempest. The first act of the High Council was to rename the castle to Oculum Tempestas and put Orsakar in charge of the cavalry.   Since then he and his men scout the area and occasionally ride out to attack pockets of north men or swiftly come to the relief of a village currently in the process of being raided.
