History
As landed knight in the service of a lord in Middland he was sent to lead a small force to retake castle Falkenklamm after Hialbjorn der Gebrochene's mercenary company had claimed it for themselves instead of taking the castle for the lord who employed them. After a few months of besieging the castle and an successful attempt of the defenders to destroy the siege engines that had done considerable damage to the walls, he stormed the gates and breached them. He put the former mercenaries in chains and lead them to the executioners block, but his lord ordered them to be delivered to the nearest city to be put on trial for their crimes. During this transport, however, the convoy was ambushed by north men and the battle seemed lost. Hialbjorn der Gebrochene and the other prisoners convinced him to release them on the base that together they could defeat them. Aaryd did so and they barely survived the battle. Instead of fleeing von Eisenstein was accompanied by the traitors who were remorseful for their deeds. This impressed the young knight deeply. Arriving at they city they found it sieged by the same north men they were attacked by. Deciding to help all six snuck into the camp, destroyed the siege equipment and sabotaged its food supply. After nightfall they killed off the sick and sleeping and started a battle to motivate the defenders to sally out. They cought the defenders between hammer and anvil and shortly after the siege was over and the remaining north men scattered in all directions. Impressed by Hialbjorn der Gebrochene and his companions honor and valor he convinced his father to spare them the death penalty and take them into his service. And so the lord did. After a few years of hunting brigands and rebuilding the fiefdoms, the north men attacked again. The battles and sieges that ensued devastated cities and countryside alike. The lord died at the siege of the last city, whilst von Eisenstein and the exfolkessons survived the war and returned to castle Falkenklamm. There they founded the High Council and the The Wardens Of Tempest and renamed the castle into Oculum Tempestas.
