Apsida
Apsida is one of the Elven Automaths. While outsiders to Elven faith and society might view him as the clear leader of the Elven Automaths, the Elves themselves tend to view him as more of the conductor of the great symphony that brought them life, castellan of the Gossamer Palace, from which the Elven Automaths emerged and reside.
Possessing a slight frame and features, raven-dark hair, and pale skin, he showed a particular affinity for the High Elves, who are said to be made in his image. During the Awakening, Apsida directed the others with a commanding, yet gentle voice, and the flows of his powerful magick ran through the bodies of his peers and the newly Awakened alike. After Thavma distilled in the newly living Elves a sense of love for nature and life on their tour of The Cradle, protected by Voulisi, Apsida awoke their very minds, completing the process of the Awakening.
His mastery of the Arcane is unrivalled among the Automaths (at least, those permitted worship in The Union, with only Omil and Myala standing his equal, and both of those considered Dissidents). For this reason, he is the primary deity connected with the Arcane study of magick throughout the The Union, even among non-Elven people.
Among the Elves, his place is revered as a necessary part of the divine creation of the Elven people, though he is not loved quite as deeply as some of the others, for he stands stoic and stern. However, those involved in governance, the pursuit of knowledge, or the study of the arcane look to him for guidance.
Like the other Elven Automaths, Apsida does not directly intervene with events on Yorth, answering prayers through the power of the magic he commands through his followers. Priests and clerics of Apsida typically practice the domains of Arcana, Knowledge, and Order.
