Dissidents
The Dissidents are Automaths whose worship is banned in the Pious Union of the Awakened. Their actions or teachings are variously thought to be blasphemous, treacherous, or in some way disruptive to the established order of Awakened society. The labeling of certain Automaths as Dissidents, as well as the actions and ideas of these Dissident Automaths, led to several schisms in the history of Awakened societies and is responsible for the geopolitical landscape of Yorth as it is today.
