Thucydia
A large mountain chain of an island in the east of the Nostron Sea, Thucydia is separated from Thraliscyra by a narrow channel, Thucydia is the secondary power of Aethoria. Contemporary historians believe that deep in the heart of the mountains lay the seat of an anciant civilization and a few have theorized that the ancient Corsians originated from Thucydia and migrated when Thucydia and Thraliscyra were connected by land. Thucydia is dotted with coastal and mountain cities and townsthat operate somewhat independently from each other but form a loose confederation that opposes the Sylphereni empire. As with the rest of Aethoria, there exist magic remnants of the previous ages that manifest in the form of Fey gateways.

Geography
Contrary to what many think, Thucydia is not one, but three different mountain ranges, the Aphenis mountains in the north, the Rivoline at the center, and the Messefer in the south, each being taller than the Aelun Range in Meshiria, the climate can be divided for most of the year.
The mountains create a series of unique environments that favor a strong logging industry which, due to the difficulty of agriculture this is the primary export of the region along with gems and metals.
