Oberun's Isle, known to the old world as Nur Baton, is an island in Tobia's Gulf north of the city of Tomaton on the Lhakamed coast. It is part of the kingdom of Toemanshire and defined in that kingdom's politics as the March of Festine. Largely uninhabited through the prehistory periods, the island was believed to be first colonized in the Kephic Age by the Benet civilizations, survivors of the Dragonfall, an event that, according to legend, destroyed the Areian Nations.

Since the rinse of Zalpula, Oberun's Isle has been a key strategic island in defending the Lhakamed coast for every nation that has followed. With several castles and ports being built on the island over the ages.

Despite its strategic importance and settlements, the island's native Baton inhabitants have largely lived as they have since the days of Zalpula, simple sheepherders largely ignored by and ignoring the outside world. Though none can be found in the modern day, the Baton have a long-standing lore of Druid known as Astrons leading and guiding the people. If true, these would be the last of the Circle of the Stars druids, and they have existed for ages after the rest of the world believed that druidic circle passed into myth and legend.
