Circle of the Stars

The Circle of the Stars is a lost community of Druid. The Astrons, as they were called in ancient times, were, according to legends, druids of the Elder Tree of Anbar. They were closely associated with the lost civilization of Benet. This druidic circle was believed lost after the destruction of Karasaanu in Dragonfall. Unable to replenish their dwindled numbers the circle passed into history. The Jenuwan Order only knows of their existence from the many runes and texts carved into the rocks around Yaren Juhl. Thanks to records found in the ruins of Benet cities these texts have been translated over the last century or so.

Some believe this druidic circle could return to the world someday. This is hampered, however, by the division between the Church, who holds the translated records of these ancient druids, and the modern druids of Jerain, who could understand the practices described within. The Rite of Blood for this circle is also lost to history, with none of the discovered records describing the rituals or formula for the required elixirs. The loss of the elder trees, Borg, Urzan, and Seblug, all mentioned in various Astron texts, also limit the possibility of the Circle of Stars return, as it is believed one or all of these trees were need for the ritual to succeed.

There have been unsubstantiated rumors over the years of Circle of Star druids rising to defend the remote island called Oberun's Isle, in Tinjir. No concrete evidence can be found of any star druids in the modern day.
