Dwarvenstone

The Dwarvenstone Dwarves follow in the tradition of old, living deep within their mountain holds, subsisting on diets of ales, lagers and smoke-cured meats. These Dwarves are amongst the finest craftsmen across the whole of the world, and from the workshops in the depths of the Vales of Horakh-Dhrum, splendorous jewelworks pour out.

While the majority of the Dwarvenstone live within the borders of the Orimid Empire, they also form a majority of neighboring Thogboldir and a plurality in the mountains of Khenthiad.

It is tradition within the Dwarvenstone for them to build their cities below the earth, hidden deep within man made caverns carved from rock and stone. It is said that, in the time before the Age of Their Creation, that Dragons were plentiful in the Vales of Horakh-Dhrum and the Dwarves living within the vales, in search for an escape from the Dragons began to expand their mines into livable cities.

Foods & Cuisine

While not unique among the Dwarves, their practice of smoking meat has been renowned the world over for their skills at it. Access to cattle or livestock common among humans is not typical among the Dwarvenstone Dwarves who live among the mountains, but Cave Alligators, Valefor Hawks & Boar are frequent meals. On the occasion when a Dragon of the Vale is fell, it's meat is used to host a feast in honor of those who slew the beast.
