The White Hand mercenary outfit was formed in 87 AD on the month of Valor. The symbol of the company is a plain white hand, haphazardly placed over skin or armor. Widely regarded as rude and boorish, the majority of the soldiers in the White Hand are not human with enlistment mostly consisting of Goblinoids (Goblins, Hobgoblins, Bugbear) and Ogre. This company is split between two main groups, small units that serve as anything from guides to bandits, and heavy forces primarily used for frontal assaults. Beyond this they have demonstrated weak implementation of advanced tactics and weaponry. However, due to the rigid command structure and only experienced combatants holding rank, this company has been successful in many operations. Individuals in the White Hand are simply referred to by their rank, of which there are seven:
1st rank: Warlord
2nd rank: General
3rd rank: Chieftain
4th rank: Captain
5th rank: Raider
6th rank: Scout
7th rank: Grunt
The main base of operations for the White Hand is a serious of semi-mobile camps. No organised force of non-humans as large as the White Hand would be permitted within, or near, a settlement that could host them. Instead, each General controls their own camp that form a circle around the Generals main, which are situated bordering deserts. This positioning offers additional security, an army with enough strength to destroy the camp would not be able to cross the desert, and monsters from the desert are loath to leave it.
