Merrli calls Lolth-against all of our insistences He basically gets eaten by the earth and has an audience f2f with Lolth. Her Worshippers and bodyguards were around her, and she was in a nest.

Lolth comes out of the nest, seemingly angry "You answer to ME. Not the other way around. You will kill Locke keyfiddler. Accept my demands?
Merrli refuses. Lolth: "I will gather my punishment later"

Yanef is FREAKED out, thinks Merrli is an abomination.

I pull Yanef away to try and talk to her. Eles kind of loses it and tells Yanef that she needs to follow them, that she knows it doesn't make any sense, but the Matron sent her on this path for a reason. Kindly DM let me roll a religion check to use my religious knowledge to persuade Yanef that things are chill or w/e
Yanef bowed to me as a peer, not as a mentor to student. Eles wants to apologize to Yanef about this "outburst". She still has things she needs to tell Yanef.

Next group was 5 people, all looked professionally killed. At the 4th brothel, larger, more popular, more affluent. Hairy Goat-14 dead outside. One of the clan leader's associates among the dead.
