The bitch is back

Running away from the battle site. Dara is carrying Elsinore, Eles casts gentle repose on her. Manny and Merrli fall somewhat behind. Dara and Eles make it to the mausoleum, and hear 4 voices; Pelk, Hops, Yanef and Umstrek. They're having some kind of heated discussion.
 
Dara and Eles double-back to try and find Manny and Merrli, who almost fall into a pit. we search for 3-4 minutes with no success. Merrli gets caught in a net trap. Then the party is reunited.
 
Coming out of the forest, the party sees a snake person apparently trying to defect from their side. Manny blood calls Hops, who says they have another person like that and to bring this one along.
 
Entering the road in front of the mausoleum, Eles notices the lady flickers. She's something like a mirror self spell. The mausoleum door opens.
Umstrek, Hops and Pelk all seem charmed. Idk what's up with Yanef, I can't read my handwriting.
Dara recognizes the snake woman - Shug-wai...great... Merrli remembers they're a big-ass bad guy.
"You come into my stepmother's house" "I mean not to fight you. If I wanted you dead, you'd be dead." "...diplomatic mission. fighting is endless" "I'm here to end the suffering" "If I could end...having to send my children..." "Let us come to an agreement" "I'm looking for a peaceful end" "The Raven Queen strays from the light"
 
"I can give you power" Eles answers "What if I don't want power" At this point Eles is furious, idk about the rest of the party. Eles wants no part is negotiating with a terrorist.
 
Pelk is trying to communicate that she and Hops aren't charmed and to sit our asses down. totally helpful.
Talking to Shug-wai again; why is she here? "We're just trying to get back what's ours" "We lived together in relative peace"
Merrli -"We didn't have running water!"
"Immelion has stand your ground laws" lol
Manny successfully persuaded
"You killed him" "I didn't, my daughter did, per my direct orders"
"Well, I'll have to kill her again" "You were collateral damage"
Manny (sarcastically?) -"Yeah, the universe revolves around me"
 
Looking to Pelk and Hops 27 insight check - Hops is uncertain, body guard mode?
Pelk...appears to be cross stitching? but is focused on the conversation, trying to remember everything and connect the dots. She does not trust Shug-wai
 
"Oh, I've just temporarily changed the afterlife for some" But they killed off the Scaled Mother, shutting off that afterlife permanently.

I think Shug-wai wants us to surrender some of Immelion to her, but like....that can't happen? thinking as both Eles and her puppetmaster, I have no idea what to do.
