Wednesday, Jan 19th session

Continued on from the fight of earlier, the group stormed off in their seperate ways after Euridiphi's great reveal. We learned that "Connie" is actually a shapeshifter named Euridiphi. She hid this from us for fear we would abandon or kill her. Bo got extremely upset after learning that his trust was betrayed and lashed out at both Ven'Lynn and Euridiphi. He turned the question of "hiding things" to Ven and she snapped at him. We all storm off in our seperate areas.
 
Ven'Lynn went and bought some parchment, creating a fake letter that looked pretty similar to the one we are supposed to deliver. Ven'Lynn goes back to the tavern and gets a drink to fill her waterskin with and walks up to the shared room with Euri. Euri locks her in and forces the two of them to have a conversation. Euri asks why Ven'Lynn got so upset and Ven'Lynn apologies for blowing up. As they begin to calm down with each other, a knock is on the door. We think it is Bo but after Euri looks through the peephole, we see its a human. A human in a blue uniform and shaved, army haircut. He says "authorities" and demands that we open the door. After we do not, he blows it open and pushes into Euridiphi. As Ven is about to throw a hit, he stunning strikes her in the throat. She gets stunned.
 
The man walks over to Euridiphi and throws her pouch out the window, rendering her helpless and not letting her cast certain warlock spells. Ven'Lynn goes to attack and strikes him a few times before Bo walks in and WHIPS HIS SHIT YES BO THAT IS MY SWEET BOY-
 
Anyways, he jumps out the window and begins to book it. We all follow after him, jumping out the window and chasing him down. We corner him in an alley way and he climbs up the wall and gets to the roof. Ven'Lynn follows suit and we all get onto the roof. We attack him until he just gets to 2 hp. Ven finishes him off and we knock him out, Bo takes a lot of the blows for the party as the tank of the group. which- YES BO FINALLY

Bo was the total mvp of the fight.
 
As we are fighting, we see that this monk can actually redirect magic. Normal monks can redirect crossbow bolts and arrows- but this one can actually grab magic in his hand and throw it back. O H
don't matter now tho cause we got em.
 
I help Conny down from the roof since I a spooky monk and she would get hurt. (picked her up hehe- cute moment.)
 
Larethar Gulgrin, the dwarf who had ambushed us is now sort of helping us out as we navigate through Umgor. He and Inte, a sister of mercy, had followed after us and were helping to capture this guy. We tie him up with rope thanks to Larethar and we haul him back to the station.
 
When we get to the station, Inte heals us (thank you my love) and we are all asked the story by Larethar so he can write a report. He gets a report from both Bo and then Euridiphi and now it's Ven's turn. He says "You would have the most information on him," he says and I learn that oh- this is someone from Heritage. Which wouldn't be a problem unless ya know- HE DIDN'T TRY TO KILL US JUST NOW!!
He has his branding mark on his chest, not his back. He could be a teacher or a higher ranking student since others got theirs on their back.
 
We are now going to interogate him. I would like to go in first and question him individually before calling the others in.
