The Blue Passage

The underground route connecting travelers from the east and west under the mountains of Readmuse Range. Takes a full day to travel from Crossings Cave to Salisson Grotto. Guards from Crossings Cave patrol the Passage to provide safety to those traveling.   The Blue Passage is dimly lit by the blue glow of columns of cultivated bioluminescent fungus every 60 feet. These light sources not only provide light, but also indicate the main route of the Blue Passage, as without them, one could get quite lost in all of the side tunnels if not properly guided. Of course, if traveling with a guard patrol, a group would have a hard time getting lost.

West Passage Entrance

A 30-foot wide and high domed archway designates the entrance to the Blue Passage. Keen eyed characters, or those with masonry background can notice that what look like bricks are actually carved designs decorating the edge of the archway, with carved writing within each brick.

Utdall's Toll

These are the tall dark metal gates to Crossings Cave from the Blue Passage. Another archway identical to the West and East Passage Entrances is carved into the stone around the gates, and flanking the gates are two large identical statues of a tall, thin man dressed in hides, carrying a long axe, half of the axehead carved as a pick, the other as a wide chopping blade.   Visitors must register with the guard post at the Toll, as they are not permitted to stay longer than 2 nights in Crossings Cave without written approval from the Jarl of Crossings Cave.

Boulderchain Hotel

The only building outside Utdall's Toll, and its well-appointed taproom is a popular rest stop for travelers if they need food and drink and a short rest while travelling along the Blue Passage. These are the only accomodations available to visitors in all of Crossings Cave. Again, limited to 2 nights stay unless given written approval from the Jarl.

Bedrock Bottom Mines

Galbek Forgefist manages these dangerous mines. He is always hiring adventurers to clean out infested caverns.

Ironlight Rothé Ranch

The Khartha family of dark elves manage this rothé farm, cultivating bioluminescent fungus and growing their livestock.

The Wild Hollow

Between the combination of unstable wild magic effects in these caves and strangely afflicted monsters residing here, folks don't come here anymore.

Rotcaster Den

Rumored to house a clan of trolls.

Deadwall Crevasse

Traverseable only by one narrow path.

East Passage Entrance

A similar carved archway to the west entrance marks the entrance on this side of Readmuse Range. Salisson Grotto is located directly outside the entrance.
