Wheat Speak

Wheat Speak is an intriguing magic-based language spoken by few on Norrab. It is primarily spoken around northern Aridara, around the Looming Desert.

Wheat Speak is commonly used to summon wheat watchers, passive demonic beings used to guard cropfields from pests.

Distinction

What separates Wheat Speak from other magical languages is the grassy component. Spoken words can be of any language - what makes it Wheat Speak is having a grassy crop in close proximity, preferably on oneself in an amulet or other similar item.

The addition of wheat or a similar item gives the user access to the Seedling Realm, allowing one to summon entities, conduct magical energy, or cast spells.

Wheat Watchers

Wheat Watchers are a rare species of inanimal native to the Seedling Realm. Their intense magical aura scares off all other animals from crop fields, and their obedient nature means they are used as a form of scarecrow. Summoning wheat watchers is an intense ritual.   Their large swirling horns are shaped like woven strands of wheat.
