Trash Council

- Not to be confused with the Milky Way Waste Disposal Council -

A rather official name for a group of junk bandits, the Trash Council is a galactic-scale group of bandits attempting to pressure the Milky Way Waste Disposal Council into legalising the act of raiding Trash Planets.

One man's trash is another's treasure, and in this case, everything is treasure to a junk bandit. They are known for their unsafe practices as they raid trash planets, dodging security officials and risking their health in radioactive, disease-ridden environments. The Trash Council wants to legalise the act of raiding trash planets, as there is no stopping junk bandits anyways and allowing them to safely conduct their practices.

Not every junk bandit is in this council. Most are content with the way things are and have adapted to this risky way of life. Some oppose the Council, believing that a true junk bandit is one that breaks rules to get what they want. Nevertheless, the Council pushes forwards, speaking on behalf of every single junk bandit, some six million.

My best friend, who I've known since I was a wee kid, died after contracting some diseases. Rotted away his body before he even realised what was going on. And to think, this is normal. You don't really known when your last day might be.   But, we carry on! For all of our people. Besides, there's some good shit y'all have been throwing out.

I like it. Equal parts like politic, union and lobby group. Also very realistic that they aren't universally supported even amongst their own, that is always the way of such things for sure there are always those sort of staunch traditionalist types in any such profession.
