Singetail Coral
One of the most abundant corals around the deep ocean reefs of Norrab, singetail coral are extremely poisonous to the touch. Coming into contact with bare skin causes rashes, blisters, and a burning sensation that may last anywhere from hours to days, depending on the severity.
Singetail coral is often found growing around the base of corallite pillars, abundant around the Latica Ocean.
This coral is vital in the reefs surrounding corallite pillars. These soft corals extend from the structural spinefield coral, filtering nutrients from the surrounding water into the spinefield coral to support it. Certain species of fish, including several sunsettas, use these soft corals to protect them from predators. The fish are covered in a mucous that protects them from the coral's poison.
