Orbit Kitty
Orbit kitties are a species of celestial feline found roaming through the Aucherm Belt within the Cheem System. These magical animals can survive the depths of space with ease; using their heat and cold resistant fur, these animals can survive the flight from outer space to the surface of Capepo and neighbouring dwarf planets in the asteroid belt.
A Fuzzy Uprising
There are no domesticated felines on Capepo. For the past several hundred years, orbital kitties have landed in the urban areas of Capepo, slowly warming up to the native capsains. Their fluffy, colourful coats and cheerful personalities attract entire crowds of capsains, gathering to admire these alien creatures that shot down from the skies.
Since their first arrival more and more have arrived, making frequent stops in cities as these cats flutter about the Aucherm Belt. Their influence is so great that some companies now manufacture and sell cat food, specifically to feed these space kitties. Many of these companies use orbit kitties as their mascots, too.
Be careful, however. Even though these cats are unaffected by being set alight as they plummet through the atmosphere, their fur is still extremely hot once they land. It is recommended not to stroke a cat until they've landed for over an hour, and had time to cool down. An orbit kitty can boil an entire bathtub of water if placed inside as soon as they land, and can quite easily burn the skin off one's hands.
