Don't Breathe

Beep. Beep. Beep.   Marca's heat sensor picked up a signal. Not good. Not good at all. Marca was five hundred metres below sea level, navigating abandoned pipelines.   Beep beep beep beep beep beep beep beep.   The signal grew stronger and faster. Whatever it is, it is moving fast and moving in Marca's direction. Marca shuffled his way through the dimly lit pipeline, feet splashing through murky stillwater.   Marca found himself in a large room with just a single lamp illuminating the space. The walls had several cavities, Marca pushing himself into one.   The beeping grew louder, and Marca tossed his machine into the middle of the room. Within just a second some great beast burst through. It looked around, facing directly at Marca. A blank expression sat on its face, ears wiggling about. Marca noticed a distinct lack of eyes.   Marca's foot shuffled slightly, and the beast's ears pricked up.   Don't. Breathe.
