Dead Daughter's Dance
The story of the Dead Daughter's Dance is one every citizen of Erene, a country on Auvarha, is familiar with. Countless people claim to confirm this story, yet most refuse to believe it to be real.
Lord Paricida is a major mythological figure frequently mentioned in mythology of the country, particularly around the Sunspot Isles. The Moonlit Mansion is one of the most iconic landmarks in the archipelago, yet it is strictly forbidden to enter on account of the dangerous magical happenings.
Variations
The tale has been twisted over the years, but the core story always features a lord mercilessly killing his daughter, then being cursed by spirits to dance for eternity.
Some stories say the lord was a vampire, driven mad after finding out his daughter wasn't actually his. In this iteration, the lord stabs her daughter with a golden dagger.
Many variations of the Dead Daughter's Dance give different endings to the story. Some say the spirits actually killed the man, and he was revived as a husk. Other variations state the lord eventually felt some remorse for his actions, and was freed from the curse. Though, this did not heal him, and he ended up dying anyways.

The imagery in this is incredible! And such a unique concept omg :0
If I’m not revising, I’m probably rewriting a town for the third time.
