Cau'Le Forest
Cau'Le forest is a large rainforest in the south of Sarra, extending north west towards Gowhouana and Vustrimia. It is the third largest rainforest in the world.
Geography
Gallors are few and far between, which is rare for a rainforest, especially of this size. The forest is most dense in the south of the rainforest, where trees can grow within a few metres of each other. The jungle edge is followed by a long winding river that has many small villages and other settlements built on it.
Ecosystem
The ecosystem is one of the most diverse and richest on Greenerth. Over a thousand bird and mammal species call this place home, and thousands of plant species can also be found here. The bird life in Cau'Le forest attracts many wildlife enthusiasts and ornithologists.
History
Cau'Le forest is constantly mentioned in Sarran mythology, due to the Blossom Of Sarra. Many sacred texts describe the rainforest as a dangerous habitat where visitors seldom escape. They describe this place as full of dangerous animals, spiders the size of a bed, snakes hanging from the trees ready to snatch you up and eat you, and birds that swoop down and pick you up.
