Brave
Brave is the debut studio album by Igna Fire, released on 6th Setiera 2040. The album sold 19,000 physical copies, catapulting into first place for the number of physical copies sold that year. Through its seven songs, Brave told the story of Exel's life as a pirate refugee from Sacaethea, who fled the planet after the Burning Sea War.
Prior to the release of this album, Igna had no professional experience producing or song-writing. She wanted to join a record label, but had no experience and decided that she would write and produce songs herself, that way her songs had more of her heart in them.
The album was incredibly well recieved by critics and the general public alike. Many resonated with the lyrics, and felt Igna's passion through her songs. She performed her album on several large stages round her home planet Auvarha, showcasing her and her music. Just a week after debuting Brave, she joined FL Studios, a record label working with some of the biggest names in the music space.
Album Cover
The album cover features a fractured anatomical pirate's heart, held up by veins and arteries, with a dark blue background resembling space. According to an interview with Igna Fire, the album was designed by herself, and each stylistic choice represents an aspect of her life that caused her to write this album.
The fractured heart represents the various heartbreaks Igna has experienced, while the spacial background represents her refugee status, and the conflict that forced her to flee her home planet.
