Alienism

Alienism is the prejudice and discrimination of a person based on their species. It is seen throughout space, especially where communities and different species frequently cross paths.

The belief that a species is superior or inferior to the rest is unfortunately a very common mindset. Subtle alienism, micro-aggressions and passive comments are abundant, people acting upon these passive thoughts without even realising. Alienist ideologies are dying out, thankfully. The understanding that all species are unique in their own way, yet equally worthy of support, respect, and basic rights, is commonly agreed upon.
