Abyssal Terraformer
Abyssal terraformers are a technological gadget designed and used by abyssal merfolk, designed to modify the ocean beds of planet Auvarha to suit their own needs. Abyssal merfolk dominate the benthic planes of the six oceans of Auvarha, with no competition from the other thirteen humanoids inhabiting the planet.
Usage
This bright blue gadget requires an hour of charging, and can only continuously be used for ten minutes on maximum settings. This handheld device shoots a beam of shattered plasma, demolishing anything that the beam touches. The device has multiple settings to control the strength of the beams, the maximum capable of fatally injuring a merperson.
The beam breaks down materials into individual atoms; the terraformer uses a tractor beam to suck the atoms into a spacial corridor, a type of subdimension the shape of a USB stick, stored in the terraformer.
